Weekly Patch.com Column: The Give

I’ve been writing for East Atlanta Patch since the site’s launch in December.  The best part: everything I cover is in my ‘hood.  I do a weekly column called “The Give” in which I profile people in the East Atlanta neighborhood (also serving Inman Park, Kirkwood, Grant Park, Old Fourth Ward and Candler Park) that are doing wonderful, charitable things and giving back in the community.  Aaaand, I usually tear up during interviews.  No one ever said I wasn’t emotional.

One of my most memorable experiences on assignment was visiting the Operation P.E.A.C.E. headquarters and speaking with the organization’s founder about how it all came to be, from start to finish.  I could truly feel the difference Operation P.E.A.C.E. makes in the community.  Read that story HERE.
